Paulino A. Nunez Jr. is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami (J.D., 1989), where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Order of the Coif. Mr. Nunez is a trial lawyer who specializes in commercial litigation, including securities litigation and arbitration, contract disputes, business torts, bankruptcy and professional liability claims. Mr. Nunez is a creative and resourceful lawyer who uses those skills to effectively represent clients having complex legal problems. He has successfully defended clients in lawsuits where multiple millions of dollars have been at stake and has also been instrumental in securing several multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Nunez worked in the insurance industry and was a Florida-licensed (2-20) property and casualty insurance agent. As a consequence, he has an understanding of the practical issues that affect insurance companies involved in litigation. Mr. Nunez was born in Miami, Florida, is fluent in Spanish, and is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Bar (admitted 1989). Mr. Nunez graduated from Florida International University (B.A., with honors, 1985).
